BIO-DISINFESTATION WITH THE HEAT

FIGHT WITHOUT POISONS AGAINST PARASITES THROUGH CONTROLLED HEAT

There disinfestation with heat is a method non toxic and environmentally friendly pest control. Highly effective convection ovens are used to heat a room or building. During this process, the temperature is continuously monitored and controlled.

The heat treatment is based on the principle of denaturation. This means that parasites, as well as their various stages of development, including eggs, are completely killed by protein coagulation after a few hours at a temperature of about 45°C.

The use of heat prevents insects from developing a resistence, thing that with a treatment chemist it's possible.

BENEFITS

DISINFESTATION PROCESS WITH HEAT

DurataDisinfestazioneBioconCalore.png

100% Organic

It eliminates infesting insects in an ecological way, non-toxic towards people and food and with a wide range of action through the use of high temperatures.

Efficient

Infesting insects die in all their life stages including eggs and pupae unlike what happens with insecticide products.

Only high temperatures

You can intervene on the structures without removing them, still managing to reach every nook and cranny and every single portion including the most difficult parts to reach with other methods.

No residue

System free of residues in the environment and therefore also suitable for certified BIO companies

No cost

No additional cost for the cleaning of the treated premises as occurs with traditional insecticide interventions

HOW DOES HEAT DISINFESTATION WORK?

IMG_5453.HEIC

There heat machine installed directly in the room or building to be treated. The ovens can be used in flexible way and are suitable for almost any room. After installation, the ovens are put into operation and the room is heated. During the heating phase, we pay particular attention to a controlled increase in temperature, so that the room and installations are protected from heat stress damage. For to guarantee an optimal distribution of heat, heating is carried out by the method of circulation of the air. This allows for all areas of the room to be covered from the heat.

In addition to the treatments in integers buildings and premises, we also offer theplant treatment of partial areas, such as production plants, specific components or limited areas in a room. In this case, we use special curtains atthermal insulationto isolate the treatment area.

During all the treatment, the temperature is monitored and regulated. This allows for rapid intervention if a change is detected temperature. We make sure that the average temperature is of 50 - 55°C, this temperature kills efficiently all harmful organisms.

TEMPERATURE MANAGEMENT DURING HEAT DISINFESTATION

For to monitor local temperatures are used devices remote measuring devices, non-contact infrared thermometers e thermal imaging cameras. Thus the cold bridges and the temperatures reached are determined immediately. Based on these results, the warm air flows are controlled and managed temperature it is supported.

The photo below were taken during a disinfestation heat by a specialist technician Igiene Ambientale. The temperature of the area around the center grating is shown in the upper left. There ladder colored on the right indicates the heat level of the rest of the room.

THERMAL ROOM IN MATERA

At our headquarters in Via Saragat 22 - Matera, one was recently set up thermal chamber which has a size of 40 cubic meters: it is a local totally insulated which guarantees the constancy of the temperature above 50° (normally between 55° and 58°) and allows to carry out disinfestations with the heat, first on wooden furnishings infested with woodworm, but also on batches of foodstuffs (dry foods), affected by food weeds or on other materials for treatments anti-mite and against bed bugs.
